About Me: Sound Enthusiast & Audio Architect
Music has always been louder in my heart than anything else. Pianist, keyboardist, bassist, drummer, singer, songwriter, producer – I never stopped collecting these titles because I never stopped being curious. Many advised me to do something “sensible.” Fortunately, I didn’t listen.
My journey began with a recorder, led through my mother’s old acoustic guitar and sleepless nights in Drum & Bass clubs, all the way to the Popakademie Mannheim. There, passion became a profession: a degree in Pop Music Design (B.A.), my first record deal, tours, and studio sessions. Since 2008, I’ve been making my living on stages and behind mixing consoles – sometimes performing for thousands, sometimes in an intimate duo. I have collaborated with artists such as Xavier Naidoo, Kosho (Söhne Mannheims), and Michelle Leonard, and learned one thing above all: the most beautiful moment is always when raw emotion meets authentic sound.
A New Era: The Architecture of Sound
Today, I am writing a new chapter of my adventure. As a creative, “positively obsessed” sound enthusiast, I’ve reached the next stage of evolution: Generative Artificial Intelligence. To me, AI is not a replacement for craftsmanship; it is the most powerful instrument I have ever held. I see myself today as an Audio Architect. I use tools like Suno AI to mine sonic “diamonds in the rough” and refine them with the experience of over 20 years in the professional music industry.
What sets me apart from the crowd? My ear. While algorithms calculate patterns, I – as a Popakademie graduate – decide on the soul of a track. I use AI for speed and my DAW for precision, mixing, and true musical depth. This creates hybrid productions that are technologically at the cutting edge, yet possess the heart of a handmade song.
Mentor & Visionary
For over 20 years, I have been passing on what I love. Hundreds of talents have learned from me how to turn their dream into a calling, or simply find more joy in their passion. In this new era, I now also help creators and brands understand the complexity of AI music and leverage it for themselves. A good teacher never stops being a student. And right now, the school of music is more exciting than ever.
